These terms govern your use of SUMI TYPING at sumityping.com — a free, browser-based typing test and practice game. By using the site you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to intimidate: play fairly, and the rest mostly follows.
SUMI TYPING is free to use, with no ads. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment and practice. We work to keep it available and fast, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and may change, gain or lose features, or be temporarily unavailable at any time.
The leaderboard only means something if it is honest. You agree not to:
We may remove leaderboard entries, and suspend or close accounts, where we reasonably believe these rules were broken.
The game — its art, scenes, sound, code, and name — belongs to its developer. Your own typing results are yours; the leaderboard simply displays the ones you choose to submit. The desktop edition of SUMI is covered by its own license agreement at install time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of a free service — and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still stands.
If these terms change, we will update this page and its "last updated" date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
